Mara's looks lean far more towards the Nkhya'jra side of her genetics, though rest assured there is some human mixed in. Her mother was half human, and her father a full blooded Nkhya'jra, and so her appearance seems more Nkhya'jra in most aspects. She has pointed ears, and her skin has a slight grey-tint to it, and poking out from her long white hair she has two small, upward pointing horns. However, the human genetics are evident in her height; while full blooded Nkhya'jra can be anywhere 5'6-7 feet tall, Mara leans more towards the human side and stands at just barely 5 feet and three inches. She doesn't let this stop her, though, and walks with her head held high.
Personality: Mara is a very curious individual. She's always striving to learn something new in not just her field of work, but in any and all aspects of life. She never passes up the chance to share or exchange knowledge with someone else and is quite friendly, though has been considered a bit of a ditz at times due to her short and rapidly shifting attention span. Truthfully Mara is a very smart, kind, and adventurous person, her brain just works a little faster than it should at times. She has a habit of muttering to herself, or stopping in the middle of a sentence to place her thoughts when she becomes a little too overwhelmed. She's passionate above all else, has a love for life that leaves her open to trying almost anything once, if only to experience it and know what it's like. -
